Painted Hills Oregon Engagement Session

My recent engagement session in Mitchell, Oregon at the Painted Hills was so magical. Rebecca and Cliff wanted to do something different for their engagement photos. So instead of the normal Oregon scenery we went to central Oregon for some desert vibes. These two are having a destination wedding in Tulum, Mexico next year so desert photos seemed fitting. I personally think these photos scream MEXICO! These two moved to Portland, Oregon not too long ago and I’m glad they did because now we are friends! Rebecca is an amazing hairstylist at Blueprint Modern on Alberta st. in NE Portland and Cliff is an engineer.

We stayed in an Airbnb in the cute little old west town of Mitchell,OR and I’m pretty sure our place was haunted! But it was still really cool and rustic. The town has it’s own little brewery, Tiger Town Brewery that has some good eats and brews. Besides that it’s the definition of a one horse town. But it’s the closest town to the Painted Hills. This is one of the 8 wonders of Oregon and I’m happy to check this off my bucket-list!

Being an elopement photographer based only 4 hours away in Portland made me think “this would be the most amazing adventure elopement location”.
