Being a local Lake Tahoe Wedding photographer has its perks. One of them being that I get to hike around and take my clients to my favorites spots all around the lake. When I looked up the weather for Lauren and Thomas’s engagement session date it said rain. So, I packed my cute umbrella and prepared for the worst. I prepped my clients for severe cold rainy weather but we were all pleasantly surprised. Our first stop on our adventure session was Emerald Bay State Park. When we got there it was sunny but oddly trying to snow. Before we knew it we had a full-on winter flurry happening around us and it was magic. The best part was that when we left to head to our next location we drove out of that winter pocket and into the sunshine revealing the entire lake. I really love it when nature pulls out all the stops and creates some magic with the weather. We ended our session on a mountain top in Zephyr Cove, NV and watched an amazing sunset.
